Comfortable room, convenient location, with free wi-fi in the bar and lounge area and easy access to nearby attractions.

Everything was top-notch.

The room was super basic and felt a bit run down, with signs of wear and tear everywhere. We had dirty sheets and a grimy bathroom which was really off-putting. There was even a half-eaten cookie under the bed!

The room was cozy, but the shower had no hot water.

The hotel had a lovely sea view and friendly staff that made the stay pleasant. issues like a non-working TV and noisy late-night disturbances were disappointing, with the lift out of service complicating luggage handling. the experience felt slightly marred, but the management is making positive changes.

Excellent location with friendly staff

I recently stayed in a Standard Single Room and was pleasantly surprised by the great location right by the seafront. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making my check-in process smooth. The cleanliness of the room was satisfactory, but I noticed it could benefit from a bit of updating in terms of decor. I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the comfortable bed for a good night's sleep.

Room for Improvement

Despite a few challenges, the staff’s friendliness stood out. Upon arrival, we appreciated the cozy atmosphere in the nearby café, perfect for a warm drink after a long day. Tip, verify if the lift is operational during your stay!

The location of Skye Oceans is great, right near the beach. The view from my room was lovely, providing a nice panorama of the seafront. The staff were friendly and tried their best to help with issues we faced. the room had some problems. The window didn't shut properly, and I noticed some bugs in the bedding, which was a huge concern. The bathroom also had plumbing issues. the toilet dripped constantly and the shower water was cold. I had to switch rooms because the heating didn't work in the first one, and I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness in both rooms. Despite the size being decent, the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. The bedding had stains and the floors were not well cleaned. I felt a bit uneasy staying here, especially considering I had high hopes from the pictures I saw. The hotel needs a deep clean and some serious maintenance work to make it a more pleasant experience.

It was just a proper fit for a budget stay in Blackpool with outstanding value for money. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the lady at the front desk who assisted with my bags and kids. Bring some tea bags as the room had none.

What a dump!

We spent 1 night in a room that was a total wreck. It looked like a storage closet. £110 for that? There were dirty cups with coffee stains, and the bathroom was gross. No toilet roll either! Bar/lounge area was decent, but it can’t save this place. Wouldn't recommend.

Great Location with Friendly Staff

I recently stayed for two nights in a Standard Family Room and had a lovely experience. The bar staff were incredibly friendly and made our evenings enjoyable with karaoke events, which really brought the place to life!

The en-suite shower was hot and powerful, perfect after a long day! The room was clean and cozy too.
